A TRUE WAY TOWARDS DIVINITY

Discontent, Discomfort, Disrespect
in the city and on the shore,
Just adding up layers,
encapsulating the inner core.

Not paying heed,
Opportunities banging on the door,
Lost the ability to distinguish,
what is sweet, what is sour.

To check and analyze,
let's take an inner detour,
That's where you find your mind,
distinguishing who is not and who is yours.

--TEJAS JOSHI

Hello and Welcome back Readers!!! This is Tejas Joshi and it's been a long time I have kept you all waiting. But, the creative process needs its time and I always try to be different from my posts every time I write. As I have got a good response to the inclusion of poems ( Of course, It is not copied, it is composed by me.) I include them. I hope you all will like the post. Enjoy Reading.

The world is growing at a rapid rate with unfathomable innovations and developments in all domains. What seemed to be fantasy is been made with real by scientific endeavors.  We have never lived longer, healthier, securer or wealthier lives than we do now. But still, there is a feeling of insecurity, widespread discontent and emotional suffering. No matter wherever one goes, whatever one does, people are grappling with a feeling of dissatisfaction, loneliness, fear, violence, abuse, addictions and broken relationships. Despite having experimented a varied range of approaches, different techniques at the individual, social, national and international levels to resolve these issues, there has not been a significant sign of improvement.

To solve this, we need to turn the pages back and need to recall ancient wisdom. The prominent goal of humanity is to understand the self and free from physical and mental suffering and to become one with the Divine. Spiritual seekers of different time periods, right from Rishi Munis to modern spiritual monks, have experienced the feeling of becoming one with the Universe, strong positivity, realized deep truth and purpose of being, experienced transcendence and develop limitless love. A spiritual approach can offer a solution to several problems we are facing now.

If they can, why can't we?  It's not like, leave all the stuff and join Vanaprasthashrama. It's neither the age of Rishi Munis nor we are enlightened and the process that we've been told since childhood of meditating for 12 years beneath a tree on a hill either standing on one leg or by sitting and the ones who are meditating for 5000 years in the Himalayas. None of us is interested in doing so. But, we all know the benefit of meditation and today we've different techniques available molded in such a way every person can do it. Many folks are doing it nowadays, but is it enough? Are we doing it to become one with Divine or to attain self-goals?

Constant remembrance and complete surrender is a full-fledged offering to the Divine in absolute trust, without any expectations. No matter which spiritual way we follow, without Divine grace, all meditations are reduced to intellectual stuff. One can seek and call upon the grace with intensity and immense faith; like a desperate child cries for his mother and knows that mother will come and take care of everything. In the same way, the seeker should relentlessly call the Divine. We perform all our actions as an instrument of God without expecting an outcome. Divine is ever-present to hold us and support with unconditional love, nurture us with intense warm.

That's all for now. I'll ensure that future posts are more in-depth and varied. From each post, I try to give something new, something informative and this is my little effort to spread my thoughts to you. If you like the post, kindly comment on your views and share it as a lamp lights another lamp and that is how the world is enlightened. In case, we are meeting for the first time, Hii this was Tejas Joshi.
